Who it's for

For anyone who finds exercise daunting

Do you have back, neck, knee or shoulder pain? Just finished with your physiotherapist, or have you been living with pain for a while? Then a busy gym is often not a nice place to start.

With us you train in a private studio, without crowds and without rushing. Your coach builds up the training calmly, explains why you do something and adapts the exercises to what your body can handle. That's how you regain trust in your body.

Complaints we work with

Common complaints

01

Back pain

Lower back pain, a stiff back or recurring complaints. With targeted strength and stability training, we build up load capacity.

02

Neck and shoulders

Often caused by sitting for long periods, tension or overload. We work on posture, mobility and strength in the upper back and shoulders.

03

Knee and hip

After an injury or with ongoing pain. We train the muscles around the joint and build up load step by step.

04

Chronic pain

Pain that has been present for more than three months. Movement can help, as long as it's built up calmly and thoughtfully.

05

After physiotherapy

Your treatment is finished, but you want to keep building. We continue from what you learned with your physiotherapist.

06

Pain caused by stress

Tension and poor sleep can make pain worse. That's why we also include stress and sleep in your coaching.

About sleep and stress

Why movement helps

Getting stronger, with less pain

When you're in pain, the urge to move less is strong. Yet too little movement can actually keep the complaints going.

Muscles get weaker, joints stiffer and your trust in your body declines. By training in measured doses, you make your body stronger and more resilient again. That's why we always start with an in-depth intake and adapt the training to how you feel.

  • In-depth intake: complaints, history, lifestyle and goal
  • Adapted training with explanation, so you understand what you're doing
  • Coordination with your physiotherapist or doctor where needed

Frequently asked questions

Training with pain

Can't find your question? Send us a message and we'll be happy to help.

01Can I train if I'm in pain?
In many cases yes, and it often actually helps. It is important that the training matches what your body can handle. During the intake we discuss your complaints and agree on a responsible build-up together.
02What's the difference with physiotherapy?
A physiotherapist diagnoses and treats. We don't provide medical treatment, but guide you in building strength and load capacity. That's why we're a good next step after physiotherapy.
03Do I need a referral?
No, you don't need a referral. If you have acute or unexplained complaints, have them examined by your GP or physiotherapist first.
04What if the pain increases during training?
Then we adapt the exercise or choose an alternative. Your coach keeps an eye on how you respond, and we only build up when it's going well.
05Can I be coached online too?
Yes. With online coaching you get a new plan every week. With complaints, we do recommend starting with a few sessions in the studio, so we can see your technique properly.

Please note: we are not a substitute for medical care. If you have acute or unexplained complaints, consult your GP or physiotherapist first.
